Training courses are held on the first day of the Symposium, at a location in central Calgary, Alberta. Past courses have ranged in subjects from pumping basics, to mechanical seals and sealing plans. These Training Courses are taught by experts in their field and provide a excellent opportunity to pose questions of the instructor's if more information is desired. Courses can be used for APEGA continuing education credits.

The courses offered for the 2024 Calgary Pump Symposium will be $600.00CAD+tax for the full day. Included in the cost of the courses: lunch, refreshments, and a course specific training manual.
